The Critical Care unit at DMH Hospital is a combination of many specialties and technologies, offering a real chance of survival to patients who are acutely and critically ill. Our ICUs are designed and managed based on the fact that the methodical organization of Critical Care services influences important overall outcome measures such as mortality, length of stay, and infection rates. A prompt ambulance facility follows emergency protocols while bringing patients safely to the hospital.
Critical care delivered by highly qualified intensivists is available at all times, including nights and weekends.

- Cardiac disorders: The Critical Care Unit caters to patients with Myocardial infarction, Cardiogenic shock, Arrhythmias, Heart failure, Hypertensive emergencies, ECMO,
- Neurological diseases: Patients here are treated for stroke and head trauma. who have undergone various neurological surgeries and require hourly neurological examination and care.
- Trauma: A dedicated, Trauma Emergency Department equipped with a team of Intensivists, Emergency physicians, anaesthetists, Surgeons, Nurses, Respiratory therapists, and Radiological staff.
- Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) ailments: A specialized service provides in-patient care for critically ill patients with surgical ailments.
